The cabin at Skjølberg is a content -rich family cabin with a great standard, the cabin looks like new when it was built in 2019. Smart layout with good rooms makes the cabin perfect for the family or good friends. As soon as you enter, you get the good cabin feeling, exclusive parquet floors in all living areas, tiles in the bathroom and storage room, panels on the walls and large windows that let in lots of light. The cabin has a very good location in the height with a panoramic view at the end of a cul-de-sac, and no through traffic, perfect for the little ones when snow caves are to be dug and the ski jump is to be prepared. Short distance to ski slopes and ski lifts. The cabin is located in the ski trail network at Furåsen , so the cross-country track is just outside the cabin door . After the wonderful drive up to the mountain, the car is parked right next to cabin n , where there is parking space for two cars . The cabin has a panel oven in the living room which can be timed so that the cabin is already warm when you arrive. In the shed there is also a panel oven with wifi where you can remotely control the heat in the cabin , this is done via a mobile app . Quality materials, timeless and delicate are keywords that are repeated throughout the cabin. One enters the main entrance to a hall with exclusive parquet flooring . Here has a good place to hang out. If you come on skis, you can place these in the inside storage or hang them up in s a hanger in the hallway. The cabin is divided into two floors, where the first floor is divided into living room and kitchen at one end and with a bedroom, bathroom/storage room /entrance at the other. On the second floor, you have another small living room with a TV, bathroom and two double beds and three mattresses for the floor . The second floor has a floor area of ​​approx. 37 sq m. The kitchen and living room are the cabin's natural meeting point. Here has a good place to welcome the whole family and friends. Great wood burning stove centered in the middle of the room. Exquisite and timeless kitchen delivered from Ikea , with everything you need for kitchen equipment, black worktop and integrated white goods. The chef can thrive here. Great location to start a cross-country trip in winter and mountain trips, kjerag trip , swimming and summer and autumn . fishing both in spring, A 7-minute drive to the nearest shop, 10 minutes to Sirdal ski center where you can find several downhill runs for alpine skiing in the winter, go tobogganing in the other seasons as well as a high and low climbing park that is equally fun for both young and old with seven slopes , 58 items and seven ziplines . There is also a beach here where you can hire canoes, paddleboards and use the water park with ten elements completely free of charge. For those who like to play golf or soccer golf, there is a course for this 13 kilometers away from the cabin. In the same direction you will find the famous restaurantThe castle that serves fantastic food if the chef wants a day off. It is a suitable hike /cycle/cross-country ride from the cabin. One should not leave the cabin without having seen the Nesset waterfall up close. Here it is absolutely beautiful to swim in the summer. It is the waterfall that you drive parallel to when you drive up to the cabin. • All the seasons marked in colour, such as Christmas, winter holidays and Easter holidays, can only be rented during the specified periods! In the summer, we are flexible when it comes to check-in/check-out days. Feel free to contact us if you wish to rent for another period. All prices are stated in Norwegian kroner. We reserve the right to price changes or security errors!
